Among the authors that he has published are: Martha Stewart, Ina Garten, Tom Colicchio, Diana Kennedy, Anne Willan and Lee Bailey. At the recent James Beard Awards (a.k.a.: “the Oscars of the Food World”), Finamore won the very competitive General Category for this new book.

Receiving rave reviews,Tasty is organized by simple but exceptional meals – breakfast, lunch, weeknight dinners, weekend cooking – plus soups, salads, nibbles and desserts. It is a must-have book.

One of my favorite quotes from this book echoes my own feeling about the day’s “most important meal”: “I think of breakfast not as a way of starting fresh but as continuing what happened the night before…Ill poach an egg to have on leftover salmon.” What a great idea!

this is a really good side. i made it a bit mushy and added red pepper flakes and a little fresh dill with the parsley.

I love this ricotta and it was very fun and interesting to make. I served it tossed with pasta and then had it for breakfast with honey the following day.
