Most of us make pasta at least once during the week for dinner, so here is what we have learned to make it taste even better:
1 – Pasta must be tossed with its sauce or ingredients immediately after it is cooked in a warm bowl or in a pan – it is one of the most important steps for good pasta. Make sure the oil, butter or sauce coats every piece thoroughly. If the sauce just sits on top or at the bottom of the bowl, your pasta will have little flavor, no matter how delicious the sauce.
2 – Also, always save some the the salted pasta water before draining. It can be used to add moisture to the pasta when you toss it with your sauce or, as in this recipe, with other ingredients.
