Coffee is going retro. Consider saying goodbye to the coffee industrial complex, its fancy machinery, and all those complicated lattes, cappucini, and macchiatos that take more time and concentration than scrambling eggs. We bought an old-fashioned
1950s stove-top percolator [1] in a durable brushed stainless-steel finish about a month ago and we haven't looked back. It's simple, dishwasher-safe, and makes rich-brewed coffee.
There is something soothing about the burbling sound. We can watch the coffee
get darker and darker in the see-through bubble on top. It kind of reminds us
of that great game Trouble [2] with the Pop-O-Matic bubble dice tumbler.
