For those of you who see us on a regular basis, you know the cookbook we just love right now – Plenty: Vibrant Recipes from London’s Ottolenghi.
Yotam Ottolenghi is a renowned chef and author in London. He owns several “haute-couture, to-go food shops” and writes a weekly column for London’s The Guardian newspaper. What we find interesting about this book:
He is not a vegetarian – all recipes are “solid dishes, all balanced and nurturing, that just happen to include neither fish nor meat”.
The book is divided into chapters based on one ingredient that is the center of each dish, i.e., leaves, cooked and raw, pulses, and roots.
It is not daunting. Just really good ideas with delicious photographs.
