Get the Book:
This month’s pick is Tasty: Get Great Food on the Table Everyday by notable food editor Roy Finamore. Receiving rave reviews, it is a book of practical recipes every cook should know. Cook the Book:
Once you have the book, cook from it as much as you can for 4-6 weeks in your own kitchen. For some this may be trying one new recipe a week, cooking a weekend dinner or carrying it to the grocery for some inspiration. As you cook, take notes or write in your book (we relish a used cookbook with the chef’s adaptations and personal annotations written in the margins).
