You’re Invited to Cook the Book

Join us as we launch our new online Cook the Book Club . You’ll try new recipes, new ingedients and learn tips and techniques to cook up confidence in your kitchen. Here is how it works:

Get the Book:
This month’s pick is Tasty: Get Great Food on the Table Everyday by notable food editor Roy Finamore. Receiving rave reviews, it is a book of practical recipes every cook should know. His philosophy – “good, simple food is meant to be shared and enjoyed – cook often.” To purchase the book online from Amazon, please click on the title.

Cook the Book:
Once you have the book, cook from it as much as you can for 4-6 weeks in your own kitchen. For some this may be trying one new recipe a week, cooking a weekend dinner or carrying it to the grocery for some inspiration. As you cook, take notes or write in your book (we relish a used cookbook with the chef’s adaptations and personal annotations written in the margins).

Share What You Have Learned:
Share with us what you have learned (likes and dislikes) by submitting comments online. And, of course, click the tab below to send this e-bite to a few friends and then get together for a collaborative dinner to dish about the book.
