Super Bowl Sunday - A Few "Hot" Things

For a lot of people, football and cooking are Sunday rituals . Ramp it up for this weekend's Super Bowl by enjoying these treats:

-- Black Velvet. Start the evening off with this stunner: a Guinness and champagne cocktail.

-- Lime-Drenched Guacamole. This recipe is the easiest and the best.

-- Tom Brady (featured). Need we say more?

-- Green Mole Stew with Pork, White Beans and Mexican Vegetables. Cook up a big pot.

Shopping Tip: This stew is made with chayote (chi-OH-tay) a smooth, pale green vegetable that was once a principal food of the Aztecs and Mayas. It is grown in California, Louisiana and Florida and it is most widely-available in the winter months (we found ours at Whole Foods). If you can’t find it, it can be replaced by yellow squash.
