If It Grows Together, It Goes Together

Cooking is intensely seasonal and, by mid-August, Mother Nature gives us foods that need little to nothing to show off. When the days have warmed enough so that the beach, not the stove, beckons us to play a little longer, return home only when hungry. A meal of complimentary flavor combos such as zucchini and mint, corn so sweet all it needs to change it up some is a slender few summery herbs, and a local fish will suffice beautifully.

Summer Menu:

Roasted Zucchini with Cilantro and Mint Gremolata
Sweet Corn Tossed with Summer Herb Cuttings and Lime Butter
Baked (or Grilled) Bluefish
