This is a terrific tome devoted to “the world of sweet cooking” by Regan Daley. It’s both a reference guide and a cookbook with over 150 creative and original recipes. There’s gobs of information on hundreds of ingredients and extensive explanations on how to choose, store, and use all sorts of foodstuffs from flavorings to flours and fats to fruits. Some favorites include: Lychee and Coconut Milk Sorbet and Macademia Nut Biscotti. It’s a fabulous find.
